1. Correct installation of tracks

Jack up the frame of the Combine harvester with a jack, loosen the track tightener, put the track into the traveling mechanism composed of driving wheel, roller, balance wheel, carrier pulley, guide wheel, etc., and then tension the track. When tensioning the track, it is important to grasp the tightness of the track. The track is too tight, the power loss of the Combine harvester is large, the track wear is aggravated, and the track pitch is extended, which will easily cause belt cracking and affect the service life of the track; If the track is too loose, the Combine harvester will jump teeth when traveling, and it is easy to derail, which affects both steering and normal driving.

2. Correct use of tracks

(1) It is prohibited to make sharp turns on concrete or hard roads, otherwise it will cause wear on the track core and twisting of the belt.

(2) When crossing a ridge, it is necessary to move forward at a low speed at a right angle to the ridge. When crossing a ridge with a height of more than 10 centimeters, a springboard must be used, otherwise the track may fall off or be damaged.

(3) It is prohibited to walk for long periods of time and make sharp turns on gravel roads, otherwise it will accelerate, cause track wear, and cause track cracking.

(4) Do not work on rotten fields, otherwise the track may slip and cause mud and grass to accumulate in the walking mechanism, affecting normal operation.

(5) If stones or foreign objects enter between the track and the underframe, the operation should be stopped immediately and the stones or foreign objects should be removed.

(6) After working on beaches or fields sprinkled with chemical agents, the tracks should be washed in a timely manner.
